International Trade Fair and World Congress for Prosthetics, Orthotics and Rehabilitation Technology

With a long history of success, the bi-annual ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK event in Leipzig combines top-quality international training with a world-leading trade show. This is where technicians, manufacturers, doctors, therapists and other professionals from all over the world meet to exchange experience and ideas and to learn more about innovative orthopaedic and rehabilitation products from world-leading suppliers. As a world-leader in its specialist field, TYTEX GROUP will be present at the next ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK from 21 to 24 May, 2008 together with around 400 other suppliers and experts in the field of Prosthetics, Orthotics and Rehabilitation Technology. The event is expected to attract some 15,000 professional visitors as well as end-users and their families on a special Public/Paralympic day. This year's MEDICA fair in Düsseldorf saw the return of TYTEX GROUP to its familiar stand in Hall 6. The world's largest medical fair with more than over 4,000 exhibitors repeated the success from previous years and attracted vast numbers of visitors. Most visitors represented the specialist world of doctors' surgeries, clinics, laboratories, the trade and industry. During the four days of the fair, the event attracted approx. 137,000 trade visitors from around 100 countries compared to 134,500 visitors in 2006 despite considerable disruption caused by the nationwide rail strike. No doubt MEDICA has a highly significant international status.

As for AirXTM it continues to make headlines within the Orthopaedic industry. Both our new and potential customers as well as existing contacts who visited us showed great interst in the innovative spacer product. And we took the opportunity at Medica to present our new sub brands: AirXTM Compression (orthopaedic and sports medicine) and AirXTM
Support (support surfaces).
